I'm white and pale. Like really, really white...and I'm an active person who spends a lot of time outside in the Australian sun, surfing, snowboarding, hiking ect. So as you can imagine this combination doesn't end well if I'm not wearing some kind of sun protection. I turn into a walking tomato.
Over the years I have used numerous sunscreens and zincs from multiple brands, all with the same rating with very different results than they should provide. Some sunscreens are rating 50+ and provide worse protection than a 20+ SPF. Others are way too greasy, hard to rub in or just come off straight away.
Due to this I keep a mental note of the sunscreens that have performed well consistently. One of my more recent discoveries is the brand EcoSol. This sunscreen works amazing. It's not greasy, easy to apply, lasts a long time without rubbing off and most importantly protects really, really well. The sunscreen is Australian made and was developed by surfers who are more than familiar with the struggles of mixing water and sun protection.
The products they offer currently are Sunscreen in 60ml & 150ml Squeeze Bottles, a Zinc Stick andLip Balm. I personally haven't used the zinc yet (which based on their other products I am confident will work perfectly) but I've used and love the lip balm. It's scentless and tasteless (I hate tasting lip balm when you drink or lick you lips) and offers 50+ SPF protection which I sorely need as my lips dry and crack easily.
I highly recommend you try out their products at least once to see how it works for you. It has down wonders for my constantly getting burnt self. You can purchase the products by following the text links in the article above. :)
